Federico Herrero (Costa Rica, 1978) is considered one of the most important figures of contemporary art from Latin America. In 2001, he won the Golden Lion Award for Best Young Artist at the 49th Venice Biennale. He has had numerous exhibitions around the world including museums in Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United States, Brazil and now, Guatemala.
